Really? Well, I only knew because I got into it with a guy who insisted he was Welsh when I called him English. "stupid Americans wouldn't know their own country if it wasn't painted blue and red every 4 years, blah blah blah..." But I got the last laugh, he was deported for coming into the US with a fake visa.

I actually knew all of that except that Ireland wasn't completely in the UK.
