no way, i totally had an adam conversation today at work...mine was more of who was to blame as a result of the eaten apple, adam or the serpent, and how a similar situation would apply to today's world. For example, the latest psycho to open fire in a crowd of people away at a mall and turn the gun on himself. According to articles on CNN, the suspect was quoted saying that by doing this he will become famous. At what point did his circle of friends, which it also said he had, say that it was a great way to become famous and leave a legacy? You know that, as a circle of friends goes, there is a chance that this topic was discussed, and the idea for the sin was planted. And though the sin was committed by one individual, shouldn't it also rest on those who coaxed him into doing it? The person at work I was discussing this with thought I was reading too much into the situation and that I was victimizing a murderer when there were innocent people who were slaughtered for no reason.

i think the question comes down to - would adam or eve have eaten of the fruit if the serpent had not said anything? therein lies your answer. :-)
