I was going to try to ruin the moment by saying something like "My dog was hit by a cop car", but after I ran it through my head a couple of times, realized that it would have been no different at all than the weirdness of the commercial, just a little sadder. (On a happier note, she wasn't hit by a car at all, she died of old freakin' age. Sassy was 17 and finally gave out while playing fetch.)
