My quick thoughts were:
1) Earl is saying this? Riiiight... but then again, I think you're more like me Earl. See #2.
2) Even more than that though, I think you're talking to the wrong generation Earl. That was 20 years ago. Today, it's turn off the game console/computer and read. TV- I can quit anytime and read. The computer... whoa, now that's a thought.

my first thought when i read the rss headline "read a book!!" was that earl was linking to the d'mitre (or whatever his name is) video.
