gogogadgetearl . contemplating creative commons

- so i'm contemplating a creative commons license for this site. the more i read up on creative commons, the more i realize that full, legal copyright is ridiculous and doesn't reflect my actual desires for the content on this site. i'm considering the attribution-noncommercial-sharealike license, but i'm open to suggestions if you can thoughtfully explain why.

I don't think it really matters until you start producing a lot of original content (and do/do not want people to use your stuff). As it is, I think you could use CC and be okay.

I say go for it. A large majority of users on flickr.com have the CC license, and so far I have only seen good things come of it. I would be wary though of some shoddy type site builders who are looking to integrate forum technology into their current repertoire by the cheapest means necessary...Although you are gonna get those kinds of people regardless of the license involved. Plus, getting a CCL is a great way to get your fanbase built up even more than us elites who've been here from the beginning, because I believe you can search other databases for others with CCL. (I've been a reader way longer than a commenter.)
