• "THE ZONE"  A mythical land where ones mind resides in times of extreme thought...a place where your work (or play) engulfs your entire mind in its power...where your soul compels you to complete the task @ hand even if it kills you...where your body becomes numb to all forms of outward stimuli...where you derive pleasure from succeeding where you previously failed...where time seems to stand still and has no relevance to the task @ hand...where your mind no longer communicates in words but instead in code...having the power to suppress pain and hunger leaving you in a Zen state...where the keyboard is an extension of your body and you are one with it...where its inhabitants can live off of potato chips and Dew' for days...where sleep is forbidden and punishable by death or even worse, failure.....
  I often find myself in this magical place from time to time and I have found it to reflect healing powers.  While in this land of wonder I type faster and code better than I would ever be able to while cut off from its glory.  If you come across me and I appear to be in this happy place, please refrain from bringing me back to reality! (At-least if I'm doing work that is.)
